Kathy Leyden
Kathy Leyden, Program Director of the Sheridan Hollow Drop-In Center- has been employed at Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless since 2003. Kathy earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University at Albany and subsequently obtained her social work licensure in New York State. In her position as Program Director, Kathy oversees the day-to-day operations of the Drop-In Center and provides administrative oversight of Interfaith’s Housing Program and Summer Youth Program. Aspects of her job that she particularly enjoys include program and policy development, legislative advocacy, grant writing and promoting community awareness of issues surrounding homelessness. Her energy and commitment are of tremendous value to the people served by Interfaith.
Kathy lives in Albany and enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
