Auction Volunteer

A Taste of Albany is the primary fundraiser for IPH. The event is a culinary showcase that brings nearly 800 people together and raises $170,000 each year for IPH. An event of this scale benefits greatly from volunteers, committee members, and interns. The auction alone raises nearly $25,000/ year and is an important part of the event.

This role will work on the IPH Development Team on the auction for A Taste of Albany. Along with support from other members of the IPH Development team and event committee, this position will be responsible for but not limited to:

Responsibilities

Mailing letters to auction donors
• Making follow up calls as-needed
• Recording received items into the Google spreadsheet
• Entering the auction items into the website with photos for mobile bidding
• Maintaining the updated Google spreadsheet of auction items

Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless, soon to be IPH, addresses the needs of the homeless and low-income community by providing a continuum of services to encourage self-sufficiency, empowerment, and stability.
