It all started with PB&J and a park full of hungry kids.

In 2006, Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless (IPH) staff saw an increasing need amongst neighborhood children for dependable, free lunches. It began as a weekly distribution of sandwiches at area parks and evolved into a partnership with the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York and community organizations. Ten years later, children count on the park program for activities, interactions, and a healthy lunch.
