Adopt-A-Family Program Making Spirits Bright

Each year, the IPH Adopt-A-Family Program helps to provide a warm and happy holiday season for those in need.

This year, 23 families expressed a need for assistance to provide gifts for their children.  In total, 54 children across the 23 families will now have presents to open, including much needed everyday essentials and other wish list items.

More than 15 community groups, businesses, and individuals came together to give these families a holiday season they may not have otherwise had.

Families who enroll in the Adopt-A-Family Program include the families in the IPH Sheridan Hollow Housing Program as well as regular visitors to the IPH Sheridan Hollow Drop-In Center.

Gifts for guests at the IPH Albany Emergency Shelter and Safe Haven Shelter have also been provided by generous community groups this holiday season.
