IPH Participates in IGNITE

Last night, Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless (IPH) was part of IGNITE, and event aimed at sparking change in Albany through volunteerism and service.

The event, created and coordinated by Christ’s Church Albany, hosted more than a dozen non-profit organizations and more than 100 community members and volunteers.  IGNITE invited participants to enjoy food, drink, music, and the opportunity to network with different non-profits to learn more about volunteer opportunities and experiences.  Volunteer kiosks were set up to encourage individuals to sign up for direct service on the spot.
