St. Vincent’s on a Mission

The Church of St. Vincent de Paul mobilized a weekend of service for parishioners of all ages to serve neighbors in ways that truly make a difference. IPH was one of several sites that benefited from the service campaign titled, St. Vincent’s on a Mission.

Over the two day period, dozens of new faces came through the doors of the Albany Emergency Shelter and Sheridan Hollow Drop-In Center.  Projects included preparing lunch for both days, sorting and organizing the clothing pantry, assisting with grounds maintenance and enjoying apple cider and donuts while watching movies with our guests.

The friendly faces and home cooked meals made for an enjoyable weekend for the 30 guests that reside at the Albany Emergency shelter.
