Sheridan Hollow Housing Ribbon Cutting Ceremony – September 20

Join us and celebrate the opening of the newest expansion to the Sheridan Hollow Housing Project, adding 4 additional units of permanent housing for families in the Sheridan Hollow neighborhood.  The official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Friday, September 20 at 10:00AM at IPH’s Albany Emergency Shelter located at 176 Sheridan Avenue in Albany. This is the second phase of the Sheridan Hollow Housing Project.  The first phase, completed in 2010, opened eight individual apartments and two family apartments for families with a disabled head of household. This addition would not be possible without the support of the project funders: The NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance Homeless Housing and Assistance Program, SEFCU, Ward Family Foundation and Congregation Beth Emeth Social Action Committee, Richard Nathan and Bill Nathan in memory of Tom Nathan.
